ADD EGGS AND BEAT ONE MORE MINUTE.
SIFT FLOUR, SODA, NUTMEG AND CINNAMON INTO
ANOTHER BOWL.
ADD FLOUR MIXTURE AND
BUTTERMILK IN SMALL AMOUNTS TO THE EGG MIXTURE.
MIX UNTIL JUST BLENDED.
COMBINE ALL THE INGREDIENTS FOR THE TOPPING
IN A SMALL BOWL.
FILL MUFFIN CUPS 3/4 FULL OF BATTER.
PLACE A ROUNDED TSP. OF
TOPPING ON EACH ONE.
BAKE AT ONCE SO TOPPING WILL NOT SINK TO BOTTOM.
BAKE FOR 25 TO 30 MINUTES.
A TOOTHPICK INSERTED IN THE MIDDLE OF A MUFFIN
SHOULD COME OUT DRY.
