FROM GREAT FRIENDS, SCOTT AND MARCIA, SAN
DIEGO/SAN FRANCISCO

9 SLICES OF WHITE BREAD

1-1/4 C. SUGAR

1 CAN EVAPORATED MILK

2 C. MILK

1 TSP. VANILLA

4 EGG YOLKS

1/3 C. MELTED BUTTER

4 EGG WHITES

Optional: 1/2 - 1 CUP RAISINS/SALTANAS

 

 

 

OVEN 450o

BREAK BREAD INTO SMALL PIECES

IN BOWL COMBINE:1 C. SUGAR
EVAPORATED MILK
MILK
VANILLA
EGG YOLKS
MELTED BUTTER
MIX TOGETHER WITH BREAD.
RAISINS/SALTANAS

POUR INTO PAM SPRAYED 9X13 PAN.

PUT IN OVEN FOR 15 MINUTES.

REMOVE, KEEPING OVEN ON AND DOOR CLOSED.

BEAT EGG WHITES AND 1/4 C. SUGAR UNTIL STIFF BUT NOT DRY.

COVER PUDDING WITH EGG WHITES AND BAKE 3-4 MINUTES UNTIL GOLDEN.
