PINEAPPLE CASSEROLE
(Serves 6-8)

FROM A LOVELY GIRL, MY DAUGHTER LONNIE, WHO SAYS SHE GOT THE RECIPE FROM SOMEONE ELSE. BUT I ONLY GO BACK ONE PERSON.

1 STICK OF BUTTER
1 C. SUGAR
4 BEATEN EGGS
3/4 C. MILK
1/2 TSP. SALT
1 (15OZ.) CAN OF CRUSHED PINEAPPLE
5 C. WHITE BREAD, CRUSTS REMOVED AND CUT IN CUBES

 

 

 

OVEN 375o

CREAM THE BUTTER, SUGAR AND EGGS TOGETHER.

ADD SALT, MILK, PINEAPPLE AND BREAD.

MIX ALL TOGETHER. (SHOULD BE JUICY.)

BAKE IN A GREASED SOUFFLE DISH FOR 45 MINUTES OR UNTIL EGGS ARE SET AND LIGHTLY BROWNED.
