DO NOT PREHEAT OVEN
1 C. SHORTENING
2 EGGS
1 C. SOUR CREAM
1 TSP. VANILLA
2 C. FLOUR
1/2 TSP. BAKING SODA
1-1/2 TSP. BAKING POWDER
1/4 TSP. SALT
1 C. CHOPPED WALNUTS
1 TSP. CINNAMON
1/2 C. BROWN SUGAR

CREAM SHORTENING AND SUGAR. ADD EGGS, SOUR
CREAM. AND VANILLA.
BEAT UNTIL FLUFFY.
SIFT FLOUR, BAKING SODA, BAKING POWDER AND SALT.
ADD GRADUALLY TO SOUR CREAM MIXTURE. BLEND SMOOTH.
SPRAY A TUBE PAN WITH NON- STICK COATING AND ADD HALF THE BATTER
MIX WALNUTS, CINNAMON AND SUGAR TOGETHER.
POUR HALF OF THE NUT MIX OVER BATTER.. POUR ON REMAINING BATTER
AND TOP WITH THE REST OF THE NUT MIX.
PLACE IN A COLD OVEN AND SET TEMPERATURE FOR 350o BAKE FOR 55
MINUTES.
