CHILI RELLENOS
(Serves 4-6)

1 LB. GROUND BEEF
1/2 CHOPPED ONION
1/2 TSP. SALT
GRIND OF PEPPER
1-1/2 C. CHEDDAR CHEESE
1 LG. CAN WHOLE JALAPENO CHILIS-
RINSED AND DEVEINED

4 BEATEN EGGS
1-1/2 C. MILK
1/4 C. FLOUR
1/2 TSP. SALT
GRIND OF PEPPER
DASH HOT SAUCE

 

 

 


BROWN BEEF AND ONION, DRAIN.
ADD SALT AND PEPPER.
IN A SQUARE BROWNIE PAN PUT HALF THE CHILIS ON THE BOTTOM.
SPRINKLE WITH CHEESE AND ADD MEAT.
PUT THE REST OF THE CHILIS ON TOP.
BEAT THE EGGS WITH THE MILK AND FLOUR, SALT, PEPPER AND HOT SAUCE.
POUR OVER CHILE/MEAT MIXTURE
BAKE AT 350o 45-50 MINUTES.
