3 WHOLE BEATEN EGGS
2 C. HALF AND HALF-WARMED TO HASTEN COOKING TIME
1/8 TSP. SALT
GRINDING OF PEPPER

FOR QUICHE LORRAINE:
4 SLICES COOKED, CRISPY BACON CUT IN PIECES.
1 C. CUBED GRUYERE CHESE
NUTMEG

(FOR ALTERNATIVE QUICHES USE PARTIALLY STEAMED BROCCOLI OR ASPARAGUS, CHEDDAR CHEESE, GREEN ONIONS, BELL PEPPER. SAUSAG E OR ANY COMBINATION DESIRED. )

 

 

 

PARTIALLY BAKE 9 INCH PASTRY SHELL, COOL A BIT.

PLACE CHEESE AND BACON OR INGREDIENTS YOU DESIRE IN BOTTOM OF PIEPAN.

POUR IN EGG/CREAM MIXTURE.AND SPSRINKLE WITH NUTMEG.

PLACE IN OVEN ON COOKIE SHEET.

BAKE 40 MINUTES UNTIL KNIFE INSERTED 1 INCH FROM RIM COMES OUT CLEAN.

COOL FOR 15 MINUTES.

QUICHE WILL SET UP WHILE COOLING.
