LARAMIE LOAF
(Serves 4-6)
Kids love this. It is great for sleepovers and similar get-togethers.

1 LOAF OF FRESHLY BAKED FRENCH BREAD

2 C. GRATED CHEDDAR
3 OZ. CREAM CHEESE
1/4 C. MAYONNAISE
1-1/2 TSP. MUSTARD
1 TSP. WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE

1 SMALL CAN SLICED RIPE OLIVES
4 CHOPPED GREEN ONIONS
1 THINLY SLICED TOMATO
10 SLICES CHOPPED CRISP BACON



 


SCORE AND SPLIT LOAF OF BREAD IN HALF LENGTHWAYS.
BUTTER TOP HALF.

MIX EVERYTHING TOGETHER DOWN TO AND INCLUDING WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE
SPREAD ON THE BOTTOM OF LOAF.

SPRINKLE ON RIPE OLIVES, ONIONS AND BACON AND LAY TOMATO SLICES OVER ALL.
COVER WITH TOP OF BREAD.

WRAP IN FOIL WITH AN OPENING ALONG THE TOP BUT THE ENDS TWISTED TIGHTLY.

BAKE IN A PREHEATED 350o OVEN 20 MINUTES.
SLICE WITH SERRATED OR, PREFERABLY, AN ELECTRIC KNIFE.
